School Readiness programs help to prepare children for Kindergarten through a comprehensive program, aligned with state early childhood guidelines and Kindergarten standards, and based on early childhood research. Programs address children’s cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development, and promote early literacy skills.

At Kasson-Mantorville our 4 star Parent Aware Preschool school readiness program uses Scholastic Big Day for Pre-K Curriculum.  You can learn more about the curriculum by visiting the website below:

‚ÄčKoMet Kids - KoMet Kids is an introduction to the classroom setting for children who are 3 or 4 years old (usually two years before kindergarten).  Activities include music, stories, arts and crafts, free play, gym or out door time.  The goals are to help children feel comfortable in a school setting, encourage their creativity, and help them learn social and self-help skills.  Children must be potty-trained to attend, with no ‘pull-ups.’
